A Major Milestone: Reaching 75% of the Campaign Goal

The vision for the Napa Valley Center for Grape Growing and Farmworker Education recently reached an exciting milestone. The Oakville Capital Campaign has secured 75 percent of its total fundraising goal, bringing the project that much closer to breaking ground in Oakville.

This progress was made possible in part by a $1 million leadership gift from Andy and Betty Beckstoffer, joining visionary support from the Foley Family, the Moulds Family, and Trinchero Family Estates. Together, these contributions reflect a shared commitment to the future of Napa Valley agriculture and the people who sustain it.

Andy Beckstoffer, a founding member of the Napa Valley Grapegrowers and longtime advocate for agricultural preservation, emphasized the importance of supporting both the land and the farmworkers who care for it. The new Center is designed to advance both priorities by expanding education and training opportunities for growers and farmworkers alike.

Located on a 2.2-acre property in Oakville, the Center will become the first permanent home for NVG. The campus will feature classrooms, meeting spaces, hands-on training areas, and a demonstration vineyard where growers and students can learn directly from the land.

With major permitting secured and fundraising momentum continuing to build, this milestone brings NVG one step closer to breaking ground and creating a lasting hub for education, collaboration, and agricultural leadership in Napa Valley.
